Adoptable Pet Kiosks:

One day you're shopping and as you pass by a store you notice a slideshow with pictures of pets.  You stop - 'that one is so cute" you think, "Oh, that one looks like my first cat!"  You notice at the bottom of each picture it has the name of a shelter and their phone number.  "OMG!  That looks like the perfect dog! ".

You could be standing in line at a deli waiting to order...

Or at the pet store picking up some kibble... but now that you've seen all these cuties that all need homes... maybe... 

It's about getting Results:

Getting these animals faces in front of people is PROVEN to help them get adopted. Out of sight, out of mind is too true. Virtual shelters can do what has never been possible before - bringing hundreds and thousands of animals out to the public, every single day.

These presentations drive people to ‘check into’ the animal of interest at the actual shelter – and look at other potential adoptees as well. I've seen it work over and over!

Kiosks can be placed almost anywhere. For example, Heidi's Deli downtown wanted to help Maxfund - they could have the kiosk there for people to check out while they wait in line. 

Denver Dumb Friends League has a retail space in the Denver Pavilions shopping center where they can run the projected 'slideshow' continuously in the window for 

shoppers passing by even when they're not there. 

HardRock Cafe wants to help Rocky Mountain Alley Cat alliance, so perhaps they'll have a kiosk in their retail shop. 

What if Petsmart sponsored us and had a PHP kiosk in every store? Wow!


People Helping Pets Adoptable Pet Kiosks
Kiosks feature either a monitor or a projector displaying continually changing images of local adoptable animals.
Using computers (laptop of desktop)and big screen TVs on dvd players – the active,changing screen and fluffy faces draw interest.
in addition to  photos and bios of current adoptable shelter animals, the presentations also include:

Highlights work/goals of the shelter

Upcoming Events

Promotes spay/neuter

Offers Behavior tips

Some kiosks will also serve to collect ink cartridges for fund raising.
